The KA-PSS Pineapple Mahogany Soprano Ukulele is Kala Novelty Series. KA-PSS offers good sound quality with a full rich tone. it is the right choice for someone who wants a good, catchy and strangely pineapple uke at an reasonable price.
it is slightly more expensive than some of the things pineaplle offer other ukes (as Lanikai LU-21P), but it’s still a price for a beginner. And it is good value for money.

Kala KA-PSS Reviews
Sweet sound and good value for money.
Some product reviews :
- I got this Uke a few weeks ago and it is great! It is my first ukulele and has turned out to be a good one to start with, it’s fun to play and was in my price range. The shape and the pineapple print gets a ton of smiles, I highly recommend getting a Kala Ukulele tuner too, takes the guess work out of tuning if you’re new like me and want to sound as happy as you look.
- For a little ukulele this is an excellent deal for the price. The sound is very good, It stays in tune very well, no slipping. The silk screen pineapple finish is very very nice, everything is well matched and the color is perfect. I would reccommend this uke for the price for a person who is starting out, I plan to have this instrument the rest of my time, and I am sure it will stand up to years and years of use, probably improve more and more, as I will!
- This is my first Uke as well, and I love it! I’ve been playing guitar for about 25 years, and I have to say the overall quality and sound of this little beauty is very good. Nice fit and finish, and I especially like the tortoise shell binding around the body- very subtle. Once you get use to such a tiny fretboard it really is kind of addictive to play. And even though it’s small, it has a pretty big sound!
